Stok Kangri – 6150 m, is the one of highest peaks in the Stok Range in Ladakh. Despite its altitude, Stok Kangri is a popular peak and is often climbed as an initial non-technical expedition by mountaineering lovers and considered to be highest trek able summit in India. 



Day 01 Delhi to Leh

Early morning you will be received by our representative and escort you to hotel. You will be served with hot welcome tea. Take rest and spend half day exploring Leh market, shanty stupa and Leh palace. Overnight at Leh hotel.

Day 02: Leh – Sham region – Leh 124 Kms / 5-6 hrs

After breakfast drive for full day sight seeing to the Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River). Back to Leh by evening. Overnight at Leh hotel.

Day 03 Leh to Martselang to Chogdo (3-4 Hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Martselang and start trekking to Chogdo. Overnight in Camp.

Day 04 Chogdo - Gyuncho La (4600 m) - Camp at 4350 m in 6- 7 h.

From now on, we will follow a new and rarely traveled route through the valleys to the east of our objective. Today, we turn towards the west into a tributary valley that leads after a long and gradual ascent to the Gyuncho La. We descent a few meters bellow to establish our campsite.

Day 05 Camp at 4350 m - Shang La (4800 m)- Matho Phu (4350 m) in 6 h.

Today, we will cross many spurs and minor passes with occasional views northwards towards the Indus Valley and the peaks beyond. We climb up to the Shang La and then descend to the Tokpo River. Afterwards we will trek downhill to a nice camping place.

Day 06 Matho Phu - Matho La (4820 m) – Base camp(4,968m) in 4-5 h.

At the pass, colorful prayer flags flap in the wind, with the Zanskari range in the background. Afterwards, we descend steadily along the Zingchen River. Then head towards southward. It involves crossing the stream at several points during the forward march. You reach at the camp after vertical ascent. Overnight in Camp.

Day 07 Spare or Acclimatization Day

Full rest for acclimatization or Spare in case of Bad weather. Today you can also walk up to the advance base camp for acclimatization. The trail leads you towards west and then southward from the top of the hill. You will be passing through a few glaciers before you reach the advance base camp from where you start crossing the glacier. Overnight in Camp.

Day 08 Base Camp to Summit (6,150m) to Base Camp

Keep your torch and other climbing gears ready before you set off early morning around at least by 3 am.  Start Climbing Goleb Khangri, which is more technical at the summit. You can follow the same route back to the camp. Overnight in Camp 

Day 09 Base Camp to Stok to Leh

Morning after the breakfast walk down to Stok and drive to Leh. Overnight at Leh.

Day 10 Leh to Delhi

Early morning leave to Delhi with sweet memories of Ladakh.
